Dr. Nikhil V. Mathew

Dr. Nikhil V. Mathew is an ENT and head & neck surgeon. He was associated with St. Joseph Hospital, Ernakulam, in 2021 and is currently Senior Consultant and Head of the ENT department at Don Bosco Hospital. He trained under pioneers in ENT — Dr. D.R. Nayak, Dr. Balakrishnan R. and Dr. Kailesh Pujary.

• Otology: tympanoplasty, ossiculoplasty, mastoidectomy, stapes surgery, facial nerve decompression, myringotomy and grommet insertion

• Otology: myringotomy with grommet insertion, tympanoplasty (open and endoscopic keyhole), cortical and modified radical mastoidectomy (open and endoscopic)
• Head and neck: tracheostomy, therapeutic endoscopy, incision and drainage of abscess, and preauricular sinus excision
• Laryngology: microlaryngeal surgery and direct rigid oesophagoscopy
• Oral cavity: tongue-tie release
• Ear lobe repair and removal of cysts of the head and neck
