Dr. Shivji Ramachandra Hedgon is a neonatologist who completed his MD in 1997 at Government Navi Medical College, South Gujarat University, and has also pursued DNB Neonatology at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. He is an expert in all neonatal procedures, all modes of neonatal ventilation including HFOV, endotracheal intubation of extremely preterm babies, and central and PICC lines. He is well respected for saving a preterm baby's life at Medway Maritime Hospital (UK), successfully intubating the baby after about 20 attempts by others, including senior colleagues.
