Dr. Sajitha Surendran

Dr. Sajitha Surendran is a gynaecological oncologist. At the Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum (2020–2025), she provided comprehensive care for patients with gynaecological cancers — diagnostic evaluation and personalised treatment — working with a multidisciplinary team on cytoreductive, staging, minimally invasive and radical surgery and sentinel lymph node biopsy. She also led the diagnosis and management of premalignant lesions by colposcopy, and conducted clinical research on sentinel lymph node biopsy in endometrial cancer, vaginal microbiota in cervical cancer and cardiophrenic lymph node resection in ovarian cancer.
